Putinism is the Russian Neo-Nazism Light - M.N. | Putinism Is An Ideology And Threat To Russia And World – OpEd – Eurasia Review: “the ideology of the Putin regime is a variety of fascism.” That Putin has not fully implemented his ideology does not change things.
Putinism is the Russian Neo-Nazism Light and includes Neo-Sovietism and Neo-Stalinism. According to the generalized common notions, for example, as below, and consists of the following triad, for the simplicity sake:
Soft, inclusive Russian Nationalism
Alliance with the ROC and other religious groups and the "Social Conservatism", which usually goes along with the religiosity
State Capitalism and the Government Control of Media, which also commonly go together.
Add to this the major, defining feature of Putinism: the merger of this Neo-Nazi Light Ideology with the Organized Crime and the Intelligence Services, which makes it a Mafia State, and you will get a picture of the perfectly cooked and one of the most favorite Abwehr and the New Abwehr dishes: the Russian post-Fascism (Light). The New Abwehr is certainly a threat to the World. It is invisible but it is inevitable that it will be confronted. Putinism is just a derivative and the tool of the New Abwehr.
Because there is no book entitled “Putinism,” many have convinced themselves that the Putin regime functions without an ideology, but Vladislav Surkov’s latest essay in Nezavisimaya gazeta shows that it exists and that it is extremely dangerous, according to Russian commentator Aleksandr Skobov.
Having read Surkov’s text, Skobov says, he finds that it confirms three theses that the commentator has long insisted on (kasparov.ru/material.php?id=5C61A758138A8). They include the following
First, the Putin regime does have an ideology, even though it has not been formulated by “the nominal head of the regime” and is not contained in books labelled as such.
Second, “the ideology of the Putin regime is a variety of fascism.” That Putin has not fully implemented his ideology does not change things.
And third, “the global pretensions of the Putin regime are the destruction of liberal democracy as a social-political model in the entire world and its ‘exit from history.’”
These three things mean, Skobov concludes, that “liberal democracy can defend itself only by forcing the Russian imperial state to ‘exit from history.’”

Nearly a year ago, we all learned that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was investigating whether Jared Kushner put Donald Trump’s foreign policy positions for sale in exchange for badly needed loans to bail out his failing real estate empire. Now one of the nations involved is finally throwing Kushner under the bus.
Qatar loaned a significant amount of money to Jared Kushner in 2018, in the name of saving his skyscraper at 666 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan from going bankrupt. The question has been whether Kushner abused his White House position to ensure that the U.S. government gave Qatar favorable treatment in return, by ending a trade blockade. We still don’t definitively have that answer, and we’ll have to wait until Mueller completes his Kushner probe. But now, according to Reuters, government leaders in Qatar are claiming that it didn’t even know about the loans to Kushner. Wait, what?
It sounds like the Qatari leadership is trying to insulate itself from this scandal by asserting that it didn’t know its underlings were participating in a pay-to-play scheme with Jared Kushner. Typically, when a government sees investigators closing in, and knows it’s about to get exposed for having participated in a scheme like this, the uppermost ranks of the government claim that it was solely the work of their underlings.
Whether or not the leaders of Qatar can sell this excuse, and thus keep the international criminal heat off themselves, remains to be seen. But this is an unmistakable signal that Qatar expects the Kushner pay-to-play scandal to get blown wide open soon, and it’s trying to get out ahead of it. Is Qatar merely guessing that Robert Mueller is about to take his big swing at Jared Kushner, or does Qatar know something we don’t?
The Russians, ironically, have the perfect word for it: nekulturny. It has no adequate English translation. Not even a degree in, say, Slavic philology will get you anywhere near the visceral impact the word evokes in the breast of the native speaker: you have to be Russian to fully get it.
“Nekulturny” was at one time perhaps the most egregiously wounding insult one Russian could hurl at another. It denotes a person entirely without culture, breeding, class or substance. But even that doesn’t quite get there. It’s kind of like good art, though. You may not be able to define it, but you’ll know it when you see it.
Take Donald Trump’s recent tweet about Elizabeth Warren. When he learned that Warren had formally announced her candidacy for the presidency, Trump tweeted, “Today Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to by me as Pocahontas, joined the race for President. Will she run as our first Native American presidential candidate, or has she decided that after 32 years, this is not playing so well anymore? See you on the campaign TRAIL, Liz!”
It was the penultimate word in Trump’s tweet that garnered some, though not nearly enough, of the mainstream media’s attention. Just what did Trump intend to convey by spelling the word “trail” in capital letters? Those in the media who guessed that “the Trail of Tears” was meant, got it right. Like the song says, Donald Trump “don’t know much about history,” but when it comes to the history of the brutal, the cruel, the racist, the hate-inspired, Trump – like all tyrants – is an eager student.
The Trail of Tears was a series of forced relocations of Native Americans in the United States from their ancestral homelands to areas to the west. A particularly brutal example of this was the 1838 relocation of the Cherokee tribe where many native Americans died along the way. Elizabeth Warren has identified herself as having some Cherokee ancestry.
So Donald Trump was turning a disgraceful act of monstrous inhumanity into a joke. A Native American holocaust of unbelievable savagery is somehow funny to the “president” of the United States. Like I said, you have to go outside the language to describe what Trump is. Ordinary English words don’t cut it anymore. I’m not even sure “nekulturny” quite does it either. You’ll have to ask a Russian.
