Trump taps deep into the intense emotional frustrations, fears, resentments, anger, rage, pains and hurts of the Working and Middle Class America. This is the source of his power. He exploits it mightily. This is the mysterious symbiotic bond between the Authoritarian Leader and the infantile dependent masses, allowing to channel their emotions, is at the heart of the phenomenon of Totalitarianism and in its latest reincarnation, the Trumpism. This phenomenon is the clue, it has to be acknowledged and addressed. Politically, this bond has to be broken or significantly weakened if the Democrats are to achieve success. They should adjust their strategies and tactics accordingly.
