Kilimnik worked actively with the Hapsburg Group; both of them, Manafort and Kilimnik, are very likely the German / New Abwehr agents or assets
M.N.: If the Hapsburg Group is the creation of the German Intelligence and/or The New Abwehr (which is very easy to assume), and if, as it now became known from the new charges filed against Manafort, Kilimnik worked actively with the Hapsburg Group, then both of them, Manafort and Kilimnik, are, very likely the German / New Abwehr agents or assets. The Abwehrs style was to penetrate and insert itself in both and all sides of the conflicts, manipulating both or all of them to the Abwehr's advantage, depending on the circumstances. In this case, as in many others, they used the GRU as their convenient and logical mask and cover in both sides (Yanukovich vs Timoshenko) of the Ukranian conflict, displacing both Russia and the US as their competitors with the masterstroke of the Operation Trump, which was just one of this operation's complex and multi-prong objectives.
President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort lied repeatedly to conceal the nature of his interactions with Konstantin Kilimnik, a man with suspected ties to Russian intelligence agencies, prosecutors allege.
In a partially redacted transcript of a hearing that took place Monday, February 4, prosecutors told the judge that Manafort had continued working with Kilimnik on issues related to Ukraine until 2018, even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller had indicted the longtime Republican political consultant.
The special counsel’s office is working to determine whether members of the Trump campaign collaborated with the Russian government to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential elections. Manafort’s longstanding partnership with Kilimnik, who was once in the Russian military, goes “to the heart of what the special counsel’s office is investigating,” prosecutors told the court.
Prosecutors also argued that it was unusual for someone working on a presidential campaign to maintain such a close working relationship with someone tied to Russian intelligence. The court documents revealed that Kilimnik was in Washington during Trump's inauguration.

Manafort allegedly lied about Kilimnik’s work with the so-called “Hapsburg Group,” a small group of high-level politicians from Central Europe who lobbied officials in Washington and Europe about issues related to Ukraine. Manafort changed his story on multiple occasions to make it appear as if Kilimnik’s involvement in this scheme was only related to work in Europe and not to lobbying work in the U.S., prosecutors allege.
Manafort “changed his story completely within 32 days" because he did not want to provide any evidence that could be used with respect to Kilimnik, the court documents read.
“There are ample records of Mr. Kilimnik being involved in setting up the Hapsburg Group events, being on emails where the Hapsburg Group is working in the United States. So it’s not a case where Mr. Kilimnik and Mr. Manafort didn’t both know and knew that the others knew,” the transcript continues.
At the heart of the matter is whether Manafort was helping Kilimnik lobby for a peace plan for Ukraine that would be beneficial to the Kremlin. Pro-Russian separatists have been fighting with Ukraine’s forces and destabilizing the country since 2014, and Russia has an interest in creating facts on the ground that will allow Moscow to control its neighbor. Efforts to promote a peace plan for Ukraine appear to have continued well after Manafort was indicted, according to prosecutors. Manafort and his business partner Rick Gates also allegedly made efforts to conceal their contacts with Kilimnik, including a meeting that took place in Manhattan in August 2016, just weeks after the Republican National Convention.
The men allegedly discussed sanctions relief for Russia.
Prosecutors also suggested that Manafort was economically dependent on Ukraine’s pro-Russian former President Viktor Yanukovych and his political party the Party of Regions. Yanukovych fled to Moscow in 2014 after a pro-Western social movement ousted him from power. Manafort played a key role in bolstering Yanukovych’s image and helping him win the presidency.
Noting that Manafort had a “liquidity issue” during the 2016 campaign, prosecutors said that “Mr. Yanukovych had fled in 2014 from the Ukraine, and there was a dramatic drop in income that was coming in to Mr. Manafort.”
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson will now decide whether the prosecutor’s allegations mean that Manafort has breached his plea agreement.

After Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos revealed that the National Enquirer tried to blackmail him, and accused Donald Trump and Saudi Arabia of being in on it, the SDNY let it be known that it’s criminally investigating the matter. There’s reason to believe that the SDNY, thanks to its ally Robert Mueller, may already have what it needs to tie Trump and Saudi Arabia into it.
After he published his story, Jeff Bezos then told a Washington Post reporter that he suspects a “government entity” may have gotten into his cellphone in order to gain blackmail material, as opposed to some private hacker. So what’s a government entity? Did Trump find a rogue element at the NSA willing to wiretap Bezos? Or is Bezos referring to the government of Saudi Arabia? There’s already some intriguing evidence in play to support the latter.
Back in June of 2017, the Huffington Post revealed that Michael Flynn helped facilitate the sale of cellphone spyware to a handful of corrupt governments who wanted to eavesdrop on their own political dissidents. One of the nations on that list is – you guessed it – Saudi Arabia. Six months after this report, Flynn cut a cooperating plea deal and promised to tell Robert Mueller everything he knew about every criminal scheme he’s ever participated in. Mueller recently confirmed in court filings that Flynn was indeed 100% cooperative.
If the government of Saudi Arabia did indeed purchase spyware designed to take over cellphones, with the intent of using it to target political enemies, it would give them motive and opportunity to get into Jeff Bezos’ phone. If Michael Flynn was indeed in on this scheme, then he’s already told Robert Mueller all about it. And we know that Mueller shares everything relevant with SDNY.
In addition, Michael Flynn’s involvement in Saudi Arabia’s political spyware scheme would help tie the hacking of Jeff Bezos back to Donald Trump, as it appears Flynn was doing this work in the same timeframe in which he was a Trump 2016 campaign adviser. In other words, with all these criminal connections, and Trump’s overall status as a financial puppet of Saudi Arabia, are we supposed to believe Trump somehow wasn’t involved in it all?

The U.S. special counsel's probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election is focusing on a meeting between Donald Trump's then-campaign chairman and a business associate who prosecutors say has ties to Russian intelligence.
A court transcript unsealed on February 7 in Paul Manafort's criminal case says an August 2016 meeting between Manafort and Konstantin Kilimnik goes to the "larger view of what we think is going on" and what "we think the motive here is."
"This goes, I think, very much to the heart of what Special Counsel [Robert Mueller's] office is investigating," Andrew Weissmann, one of the prosecutors on Mueller's team, told the judge, according to a transcript of the hearing.
Much of the transcript was redacted, including portions relating to Kilimnik.
In previous court documents, it was revealed that one of the topics discussed by Manafort and Kilimnik was a possible "Ukrainian peace plan."
The peace plan refers to the conflict that erupted in Ukraine in 2014, after President Viktor Yanukovych fled the country amid mass protests. The United States and Western allies hit Russia with sanctions after Moscow annexed Ukraine's Crimea Peninsula, and Moscow had sought to ease the punitive measures.
According to court filings, the "peace plan" was reportedly aimed at lifting the U.S. sanctions on Russia.
Manafort was convicted in federal court in Virginia in August of bank fraud and tax evasion connected to his work in Ukraine. He later pleaded guilty in a separate case to two counts of conspiracy.
Manafort has been imprisoned since June, when a federal judge said he violated his bail by reaching out to potential witnesses in his case. According to prosecutors, he and Kilimnik contacted potential witnesses in Mueller’s investigation, trying to tell them what to say if they were questioned -- a federal crime.
Mueller is investigating whether there was collusion between Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and Russia, which U.S. intelligence agencies charge mounted an influence operation to sway the vote to Trump over his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.
Kilimnik, who was indicted last year on charges of witness tampering in Manafort's case, has denied having ties to Russian spy agencies.
Trump denies he colluded with Russian agents, and Moscow denies interfering in the election to help Trump.
