Magnetized pouches couldn't stop leaks from Trump's weekend Mar-a-Lago speech

Guests attending President Trump’s speech at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., Friday night were forced to carry their cell phones in magnetized pouches in order to prevent leaks. Despite that, leaks got out.
Those attending who leaked content from the event had to rely on their memories of the speech, as bodyguards were on hand to ensure guests kept their phones stowed away, Axios reported Sunday.
Trump delivered the speech to donors and touched on a number of issues, but many of the more controversial remarks related to current political news.
Trump said that if he could run to become Israel’s next prime minister, the polls would have him at 98 percent, sources said. The comment comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing potential criminal charges and is in a fierce fight to be reelected in an April election.
Trump also reportedly directed his attention to anti-Semitic comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., saying “the Democrats hate Jewish people.” Sources said Trump highlighted his administration’s monumental decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Friday’s private event was held for donors to the Republican National Committee. In addition to the benefactors, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, and the president's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. were in attendance.
The White House recently has long had problems with information leaking to the press. Most recently, Trump’s private schedules were leaked twice in a week back in early February, leading to a hunt in the West Wing to track down the source.

Congress to receive memo detailing each time Mueller was told "no" - Axios

Congress to receive memo detailing each time Mueller was told "no"

Upon the conclusion of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, Attorney General William Barr will be required to submit a memo to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees detailing each instance in which Mueller's supervisors rejected his requests, according to a Justice Department regulation highlighted by Politico.
Why it matters: Regardless of what it reveals, the memo will be meaningful in the context of Mueller's broader findings. If it's blank or sparse, it would suggest that Mueller was able to carry out his investigation unimpeded. If it contains evidence of Mueller being blocked from taking certain actions — such as a presidential subpoena or some explosive indictment — it could provide grounds for further investigation by Democrats.
"Upon conclusion of the Special Counsels investigation, including, to the extent consistent with applicable law, a description and explanation of instances (if any) in which the Attorney General concluded that a proposed action by a Special Counsel was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices that it should not be pursued."
